"Newly-Admitted" Attorneys may earn up to 7 of their Professional Practice and/or Law Practice Management CLE credits per year with courses from this list.

PROGRAM CODES: During the course, one or more Program Codes will be announced. In order to receive NY CLE credits for this program you must complete an Evaluation, which includes correctly entering ALL of the Program Codes. You must answer ALL of the Evaluation questions AND enter ALL of the PROGRAM CODES announced during the course. If the Program Codes are not entered correctly, a prompt will inform you. When using the supplied worksheet to record each code, it would be useful to note in which segment each code is read, in the event you need to relisten to correct a code at the end of the program.

Attorneys!

  • Effective July 1, 2018: New York attorneys who have been admitted for at least 2 years (hereafter "Experienced Attorneys") are required to earn 24 NY CLE credits every two (2) years -- 4 credits of which must be in Ethics and Professionalism topics and 1 credit in the areas of Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias.
  • Experienced Attorneys may earn their remaining 19 credits by any combination of Ethics and Professionalism, Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias, Professional Practice, Skills and Law Practice Management programs. (Please see revised 22 NYCRR 1500.22(a)).
  • "Newly-admitted" New York attorneys may, with these "on-demand/recorded" format courses, earn all 7 required credits in Professional Practice and/or Law Practice Management. "Newly-admitted" New York attorneys must earn, before the first anniversary of admission, a total of 7 New York CLE credits in any combination of Professional Practice and/or Law Practice Management. The requirement during the second year of admission is exactly the same.
  • Self-study of the "on-demand/ recorded" format courses offered on this site will NOT earn "newly-admitted" attorneys Ethics and Professionalism credits or Skills credits, for which a more participatory format is required (except as provided in Sections 2(A) and 2(F) of the NYS CLE Board Regulations and Guidelines).
  • National Law Foundation has been certified as an Accredited Provider by the NYS CLE Board. Individual/self-study of the courses on this page will obtain New York CLE Credits for you (up to 24 credits every two years for "experienced" and up to 7 Professional Practice and/or Law Practice Management credits each year for "newly-admitted" attorneys).
  • PROGRAM CODES: Please see the IMPORTANT INFORMATION panel above for instructions related to listening for and recording one or more program codes that will be read aloud during each course.

  • A Certificate of Completion is provided when you submit the Course Evaluation after listening to each Online program.
