In order to receive NY CLE credits for this program you must complete an Evaluation, which includes correctly entering ALL of the Program Codes. You must answer ALL of the Evaluation questions AND enter ALL of the PROGRAM CODES announced during the course. If the Program Codes are not entered correctly, a prompt will inform you. Attorneys!

  • New! Experienced and Newly Admitted attorneys must complete at least 1 CLE credit hour in Cybersecurity, Privacy and Data Protection (Cybersecurity-General or Cybersecurity-Ethics) as part of their biennial CLE requirement (Effective July 1, 2023).
  • New York attorneys who have been admitted for at least 2 years (hereafter "Experienced Attorneys") are required to earn 24 NY CLE credits every two (2) years -- 4 credits of which must be in Ethics and Professionalism topics, 1 credit in Cybersecurity, Privacy and Data Protection and 1 credit in the areas of Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias.
  • Experienced Attorneys may earn their remaining 18 credits by any combination of Ethics and Professionalism; Cybersecurity; Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias; Professional Practice; Skills; and Law Practice Management programs.
  • "Newly-admitted" New York attorneys may, with these "on-demand/recorded" format courses, earn all 7 required credits in Professional Practice and/or Law Practice Management. "Newly-admitted" New York attorneys must earn, before the first anniversary of admission, a total of 7 New York CLE credits in any combination of Professional Practice and/or Law Practice Management. The requirement during the second year of admission is exactly the same.
  • Self-study of the "on-demand/ recorded" format courses offered on this site will NOT earn "newly-admitted" attorneys Ethics and Professionalism, Cybersecurity-Ethics or Skills credits, for which a more participatory format is required (except as provided in Sections 2(A) and 2(F) of the NYS CLE Board Regulations and Guidelines).
  • CARRY OVER
    Experienced attorneys may carry over a maximum of 6 excess CLE credit hours, in any category of credit, into your next biennial reporting cycle.
  • National Law Foundation has been certified as an Accredited Provider by the NYS CLE Board. Individual/self-study of the courses on this page will obtain New York CLE Credits for you (up to 24 credits every two years for "experienced" and up to 7 Professional Practice and/or Law Practice Management credits each year for "newly-admitted" attorneys).
