New CPLR 321(d) Allows For Limited Scope Representation ("LSR") — 0.5 New York Professional Practice Credit

In December, 2022, section (d) was added to CPLR 321 to allow limited scope representations ("LSRs"). In this thirty-minute June 20, 2023 program, Patrick M. Connors, Esquire provides a useful and detailed explanation of this important addition to New York Practice. He also covers what was not changed in CPLR, the potential risks of LSRs, and more.

Mr. Connors is the Albert and Angela Farone Distinguished Professor In New York Civil Practice at Albany Law School, where he teaches, inter alia, Legal Ethics. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association's Committee on Professional Ethics and a highly-respected speaker, author, frequent expert witness, and consultant on attorney ethics.
