In this one-hour forty-five minute November 1, 2023 program presented by Dr. Bart Basi, Esquire you will gain an understanding of key financial statements (including balance sheets, income statements, statements of cash flow, and statements of stockholders' equity) and the accounting process.

The fundamental understanding of financial statements and the accounting process is essential when speaking to clients about cash flow, balance sheets, and operational aspects of their business decisions. Such understanding provides the ability to discuss, financially, factors that increase or decrease the value of a client's business.

Dr. Basi has expertise in the areas of financial accounting, business succession, business valuation, mergers and acquisitions, retirement and estate planning, strategic planning, and tax aspects of business decisions for closely-held and family businesses. Dr. Basi is the author of "The Tax Report," a bi-monthly report on income and estate tax matters for closely-held businesses, "Accounting and Taxes," a monthly column distributed to individuals and trade journals, and the "Tax Advisory," a monthly advisory for closely-held and family businesses.
