Substance Abuse: Attorney Addiction And Recovery - 1 Ohio PROF CON Credit

In this one-hour, June 28, 2021 program, nationally-recognized substance abuse speaker, Brian Cuban, Esquire, shares his story of lawyer addiction and long-term recovery. Learn how you can recognize signs of attorney substance dependence and abuse. Mr. Cuban includes specific tools to assist and support attorneys who are struggling with addiction.

Brian Cuban is a Dallas-based attorney, author, and addiction recovery advocate. He is a graduate of Penn State University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Mr. Cuban has been in long-term recovery from alcohol, cocaine, and bulimia since April 2007. His most recent, best-selling book, The Addicted Lawyer, Tales of The Bar, Booze, Blow, and Redemption, is an unflinching look back at how addiction and other mental health issues destroyed his career as a once successful lawyer and how he and others in the profession redefined their lives in recovery and found redemption.
