In this important one-hour, March 24, 2022 presentation, Vida L. Thomas, Esquire explains unconscious biases. She gives helpful examples of these biases, including how they impact decisions in the legal profession. Ms. Thomas provides numerous useful suggestions for reducing attorneys' biases.

Ms. Thomas, who has practiced law for more than 25 years, is a partner in the Berkeley, CA firm of Oppenheimer Investigations Group LLP. She started her career as an employment defense litigator and has advised employers on all aspects of employment law and human resources management.
