Ethics and Professionalism
Ethics Rules Related To Social Media — 1.3 Connecticut Ethics Credits

This program is one of four short Ethics courses included in our 4.3-hour Legal Ethics Compilation program. You will earn CLE credit by completing EITHER this individual program OR Legal Ethics Compilation. You may not earn CLE credit for BOTH the 4.3-hour compilation and this individual title.

In this 1.3-hour (80 minute) January 3, 2022 program, Patrick M. Connors, Esquire gives a practical explanation of the increasingly important topic: the ethics rules relating to social media. His presentation includes discussion of many helpful Ethics Opinions, Comments, Guidelines, and cases.

Mr. Connors is the Albert and Angela Farone Distinguished Professor In New York Civil Practice at Albany Law School, where he teaches, inter alia, Legal Ethics. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association's Committee on Professional Ethics and a highly-respected speaker, author, frequent expert witness, and consultant on attorney ethics.

Major topics include:
