Depositions In New York State Courts: Part 1 — 4 New Jersey General Credits

As every lawyer who has been involved with depositions know, they are vital. In this 3.3-hour June 18, 2015 presentation, Patrick M. Connors, a Professor of Law at Albany Law School, where he teaches, inter alia, New York Practice, provides a practical explanation of significant aspects of conducting depositions and their usage in New York State Courts. Professor Connors also provides valuable tips and warnings.

Professor Connors is the author of Siegel, New York Practice (5th ed.) beginning with the January 2013 supplement, the McKinney's Practice Commentaries for CPLR Articles 22, 23, 30 and 31 (Disclosure), the New York Practice column and the annual Court of Appeals Roundup on New York Civil Practice, which are published in the New York Law Journal, and numerous other publications.
