Attorneys!

  • Ohio attorneys must earn 24 CLE Credits, including 2.50 hours of Professional Conduct credits each biennial compliance period.
  • Beginning with the 2014/2015 biennial compliance period, the Professional Conduct requirement has been unbundled. This means attorneys may earn their 2.50 Professional Conduct requirement through any variety of subjects related to professional conduct, including courses previously approved as Professionalism, Substance Abuse, and Ethics.
  • Effective January 1, 2014, attorneys may now earn a maximum of TWELVE (12) CLE credits by Self-Study, including Online courses via your computer.
  • For those making up a deficiency from the 2012/2013 reporting period, you may earn a maximum of SIX (6) of your CLE credits by Self-Study, including Online courses via your computer.
  • Self-Study of these programs will obtain these Ohio CLE Credits for you. Each is pre-approved for Ohio CLE credit.
  • After you complete our online course and a brief online evaluation, National Law Foundation electronically reports the course Activity Number and your credits to the Ohio CLE Commission for you. You can print a Certificate of Completion for your records to verify against future Ohio CLE Transcripts.
  • SPECIAL NOTE - Self-Study courses for Ohio CLE MUST be completed by December 31 in order to receive CLE credit for that year's reporting cycle. Courses purchased during one calendar year, but completed in the next, may not be eligible for OH CLE Credit.
